Volvo will only sell hybrid or electric vehicles in 2023
June 29 2022,
Volvo has given us more information about its upcoming 2023 vehicle lineup. There are many changes coming to the Volvo lineup next year, with the most significant being that every 2023 Volvo will feature a mild-hybrid, hybrid, or fully electric powertrain.
That means that Volvo will replace the current T4, T5, and T6 engines still in use with new B4, B5, and B6 powertrains which we have already seen on the new 2022 Volvo XC60. The new mild-hybrid engines from Volvo are a lot more efficient and they deliver improved performance. They are also smoother and a lot more enjoyable on the road. They are definitely an improvement for the 2023 Volvo vehicle lineup.
Other changes made to the Volvo 2023 family include the addition of Google built-in infotainment across the entire lineup. Already offered on multiple new Volvo models including the S90 and the C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge, the new Google built-in system will now be offered across the lineup. It will also offer over-the-air updates to ensure that it remains up to date. Volvo buyers will now be able to enjoy the added functionality of Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play.
Volvo says it will also streamline the trim lineup, offering CORE, PLUS, and ULTIMATE specification levels. Give us a call today to learn more!
